Each year ServeNebraska partners with the Governor to host the Step Forward Awards to honor volunteers from across the state. This event is the state's most prestigious awards for volunteerism and recognizes outstanding people and groups for their time and service. Please consider becoming a sponsor for this year's Step Forward Awards.

It's important that the hard work of volunteers doesn't go unrecognized. We couldn't thank these volunteers the way they deserve or grow Nebraska's culture of community service without the help of our generous sponsors. There are several levels of contribution available and funds go towards hosting the volunteer luncheon each year and supporting initiatives to increase volunteer participation across the state. 

The 2025 luncheon will take place at the Embassy Suites in Lincoln on October 3, 2025.

Sponsorship Levels

Title Sponsor – $10,000

  • Private meet & greet with the Governor prior to the Step Forward Awards Luncheon
  • Table for 8 at the Step Forward Awards Luncheon
  • Exclusive sponsorship of award category of choice and official photo with the Governor and honoree
  • Opportunity to provide logo’d swag items to Step Forward Awards Luncheon attendees
  • Full page ad in the Step Forward Awards program near Governor’s message (First come, first serve)
